I love when clients contact me through referrals, seeing my work around town or from my business card. I ran into this mom at my children’s school during an auction fundraiser a few months back. I remember mom telling me baby A was taking her time as her due date was April 20th and she was already 5 days past her due date,  mom was completely fine with it. I was ecstatic when I received an email that they were ready to schedule her newborn session. At 9 days new this beautiful little girl was perfect. Sometimes the simplest poses are the sweetest. This image was taken after we removed her off the posing bean bag. She was so comfy and sound asleep when I transferred her to the floor and just had to capture this image. 

For just a moment she opened her eyes.

It makes my heart happy when parents are willing to let me photograph them with their little ones. Tender moment between mom and baby.
