Conifer Newborn baby boy session

Baby M came to visited me at the studio for his newborn session at 11 days new. Mom and dad were so down to earth and easy going, mom even took a little nap during the session. I love when my clients are so comfortable and relaxed.

When mom contacted me about scheduling a newborn session she sent me a photo of this outfit saying she was in love with it and asked if I had it on hand, well I didn’t have it in my prop stash but I did find the vendor. Mom was pretty excited for this photo. 

When we met for their order session and got to this image during the slide show she commented not remembering this outfit (she was napping). Since his session took place close to Christmas I wanted to include a Christmasy outfit for them.

A peek or two to see what was going on and then back to sleep he went.

Just love all the little expressions he gave in this series of images.  Although mom’s request was minimal props and outfits the moon was another request.  At each inquiry I let the families  know that family shots are included in the newborn session. When my clients come in for their session some have already made the decision not to do photos but usually at the end of the session I have talked them into it. This family had expressed they were not crazing about having their photos taken but had also agreed that documenting them all together was very important.
